323 Confirmation (affirmation of baptism) is a voluntary ritual for youths or adults who were previously baptized, and now wish to affirm the value of baptism and the Christian faith for a new stage of life.  Although confirmation is typically expressed as an adolescent rite of passage (not unlike the Jewish bar mitzvah), it can take place at any age, can take place multiple times.

Confirmation instruction and preparation varies at Dove of Peace, depending on the needs of the family, the age of the individual, and the possibilities for organizing a “class” of confirmands.
